The LGBTQ+ Center is holding Safe Zone Workshops Wednesday (May 24) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the LGBTQ+ Center located in Hodges Hall G-06, and on May 30 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Mountainlair Bluestone Room. Safe Zone is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ students, staff, faculty, community members and allies to learn about gender and sexual identities, as well as LGBTQ specific issues. The workshop also identifies supportive individuals within the WVU campus and provides them with knowledge and resources to support and celebrate members of the LGBTQ+ communities. All are welcome.
