Morgantown Farmers Market

Shop local at the weekly Summer Farmers Market, Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Morgantown Market Place on Spruce Street. More than 20 vendors will offer a variety of fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs, cheese, jams, jellies, nuts, honey, meats, woolen products, soaps, etc. all produced within 50 miles.

Come to the market this week to hear musician Michael Ginsburg, for information about nonprofit Partnership For Success, and a cooking demonstration by Hayley Ryzeck.

The morgantown farmers market growers association, in coordination with WVU Extension Service Small Farm Center strives to make fresh local food accessible to everyone, regardless of income. Shoppers can use cash or market tokens purchased with credit/debit/SNAP cards, or WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers at approved vendors.
