This weekend (April 7-9) the WVU greenhouse will open for the season. The greenhouse will be open every weekend through mid-May and sell a variety of perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, herbs and vegetable transplants. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All plants are grown by WVU students and the WVU Horticulture Club is the driving force behind this sale. Funds are used to support community organizations, field trips, seminars, and travel to competitive events. This weekend and next the greenhouse will also have Easter Lilies, oyster mushrooms, and basil for sale, also student projects.
