The Department of Biology spring ephemeral wildflower walks will take place April 9, 16, and 23 at 2 p.m. at the WVU Core Arboretum. Participants will learn the names of the flowers and some interesting facts about the them during these free, guided tours that are a spring tradition. Last year, in the course of three wildflower walks, more than 45 species of plants were seen in bloom. All tours will meet in the Arboretum parking lot. Additional free parking is available at the nearby WVU Coliseum. No reservations are needed. Dress appropriately for the weather and for hiking.
