Diane Michaels, harpist and author from New Jersey will visit Thursday and Friday (April 6 and 7). Scheduled events include 7 p.m. Thursday, a Harp Ensemble performance at Village at Heritage Point and Friday, 10 a.m. to noon, promotional event at Barnes and Noble, Friday 4 p.m. to  5 p.m. Master Class at CAC Room 224, and at  6 p.m.  recital at Bloch Hall CAC. Diane is principal harpist with the Orchestra of St. Peter by the Sea.  She is a very active freelancer, performing many New York Broadway shows, and serves as the Mid-central Regional Director of the American Harp Society. Diane has published Ellen, the harpist, a fictional work.  Also, she has published arrangements for harp ensemble and a beginning harp book. Diane holds a degree in harp performance from the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Alice Chalifoux.
