The WVU Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design has grown quite a bit since the purchase of its first farm in 1895. The original 81-acre farm was located adjacent to the property where the Mountainlair is currently located.
Today, the WVU Davis College is fortunate to have nine “Learning Launch Points" in various parts of the state that provide students with a wealth of experiential learning and hands-on research opportunities. These locations total more than 3,400 acres of farmland and 8,100 acres of forest for teaching, research and outreach. Click here to learn more.
