Her award will be presented at the Spring Educational Conferences of the Chesapeake Bay Division of the International Association for Identification, which will be held in Gettysburg, Maryland, in March 2022.

According to the secretary of the CBD-IAI, "Your application was well received from the Scholarship Committee and you should be proud of your accomplishment. Individuals of your caliber are exactly the type of individuals who will progress Forensic Science in impactful and meaningful ways. As a professional and practitioner myself, I can say that the future is bright."
