Researchers who want to better leverage U.S. Census data on demographics, business and economy should attend this hands-on workshop that will teach how to use the Social Explorer database to locate data, create data maps and perform location analysis, quickly and easily. This free Research Commons workshop is open to all WVU-affiliates. Content is intended for upper-level undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty. No prior technical experience with mapping visualization necessary. Participants should bring a personal PC or check one out at the Access Services desk before the training.
