Help welcome fans to Morgantown for the 2018 WVU football season

Join the WVU Gold and Blue Ambassadors program for the 2018 Mountaineer football season. As volunteers, Ambassadors help improve the WVU game day experience for Mountaineer and away fans by acting as a resource for information. Volunteers include WVU employees and retirees who work game days as bus guides in tailgating areas and the stadium.

To prepare for the excitement of the new season and to learn more, attend the annual orientation at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 15 on Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium. Volunteers will meet at the base of the press box, West Gate.

Gold and Blue Ambassadors report three hours prior to each home football game at various locations around the stadium to welcome and help fans as needed.

The 2018 football season features six total home games, three of which are night games.

WVU has announced that the Sept. 8 home opener against Youngstown State University will kick off at 6 p.m. On Thursday, Oct. 25, WVU will host Baylor at 7 p.m. Additionally, the Oklahoma game, Friday, Nov. 23, will start at 8 p.m.

Join the Gold and Blue Ambassador program to help continue the tradition of improving the WVU game day experience. For more details, contact Kimberly Cameon, kimberly.cameon@mail.wvu.edu.
