The University conducted a test of its alert system Thursday (July 12). If you did not receive an email or text message on your phone, sign up or update your contact information at alert.wvu.edu. To improve communication in the event of a campus emergency, faculty and staff are urged to register with WVU Alert.
WVU Alert is a notification system for critical incidents that pose an imminent threat to the health or safety of the University campus community.
The system is activated when there is an immediate threat on campus or when weather conditions require a change in University scheduling.
