University community invited to Veterans Appreciation Breakfast 2017

Woodburn clock

The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, in partnership with the Division of Talent and Culture, Army ROTC, Air Force ROTC and the Division of Student Life, will again host the Veterans Appreciation Breakfast Nov. 10, at 8 a.m. at the Erickson Alumni Center.  Keynote speaker will be Maj. Gen. Kenneth D. Gray, former vice president for Student Affairs. The Faculty Senate has designated Veterans Day as a “Day of Recognition,” which gives WVU veterans/military students the option to miss classes on Veterans Day in order to participate in events and ceremonies. Instructors have been asked to make allowance for veterans/military students to be excused from class. Supervisors are asked to be flexible to permit employee veterans to attend the breakfast. For more information and to register for the event, click the link below. It is recommended that registration be made by Nov. 3.
