Researchers and entrepreneurs pitching energy innovations they hope will change the world—that’s what’s happening at the 2017 TransTech Energy Business Development Conference on Oct. 24-25 at the Hilton Garden Inn-Southpointe near Canonsburg, Pensylvania. Innovators from West Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region will pitch technologies for increasing battery storage, capturing energy from ambient radio frequency waves and building vibrations, converting grease trap waste to biofuel, and more. The conference is a program of WVU’s Energy Institute and TransTech Energy Research and Development Program. WVU students, faculty and staff working on energy innovations who would like to exhibit or present a poster, contact 304.293.6456, sfallon@mail.wvu.edu, or Carl.Irwin@mail.wvu.edu for special registration rates.
