Be a garden greeter/host for Botanic Garden visitors

Flowers

Weekend garden greeters/hosts are needed at the West Virginia Botanic Garden located on Tyrone Road just outside of Morgantown. Your role as host is to greet, meet, orient and inform visitors to the garden. WVBG has 85 acres of plants, trees, streams and wildlife for you to explore in order to become a knowledgable host. Weekend shifts are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. New volunteers will shadow a veteran volunteer for orientation and training. A background check is required and WVBG will cover the cost for committed volunteers. The West Virginia Botanic Garden is an official partner of the Center for Service and Learning. To learn more or to sign up, please refer to the need posted on iServe.  Questions?  Contact Kay Jones at volunteers@wvbg.org  304.322.2083.
