Kid climbing up rock wall
Keep kids active as the weather gets colder. Kid’s Climbing will return for two 8-week sessions this year. The fall session will be held Oct. 15-Dec. 17; the spring session will be held from Jan. 14-April 29. Two groups, Billy Goats and Spider Monkeys, are being offered this year; each group has a different focus. The Billy Goats group is intended to help younger climbers, age 6-10, develop interest in climbing. Older climbers are welcome if they desire a more socially-oriented group. The Spider Monkeys group is intended to help older climbers train and develop climbing skills through physical conditioning, mental training and journaling. The socially-oriented group is designed for children nine-years-old and over. The program will meet every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., excluding Nov. 19 and 26. For pricing options and more information about the program, visit the Kids Climbing Club page on the Climbing Programs website. Visit the Outdoor Rec Center located inside of the SRC to register.
