Libraries announce workshop schedule

Join the WVU Libraries for a fall workshop series on Citation Management Tools. Exploring EndNote (Basic), Mendeley, and Zotero, these workshops will show attendees how these tools can help organize research and increase productivity. All workshops will be held in G-16 of the Evansdale Library. Workshops are free and do not require pre-registration. Seating is limited to 35 at each workshop, first-come, first-served.

The first workshops (same session offered three times) will offer a brief overview and side-by-side comparison of each tool, highlighting features, basic functionality and strengths.

  • Thursday (Aug. 24) 11 a.m. to noon
  • Wednesday (Aug. 30) 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Friday (Sept. 1) 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The second workshops (same session offered two times for each tool) will provide an in-depth look at each tool individually, with hands-on instruction for attendees. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptop, as we will install software for the individual tools.
