Faculty are invited to network with over 85 employers at the WVU Employer Summit June 27

The Career Services Center, in collaboration with the College of Business & Economics, Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources and Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, is hosting the WVU Employer Summit on June 27 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by a Faculty Networking Reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place. 

Participating employers will meet campus leaders, plan innovative recruiting and branding strategies, benchmark with peers, and learn how to become an employer of choice. This year’s agenda provides sessions for new and returning participants on topics such as developing internal talent, data-driven recruitment strategies, and enhanced application and onboarding experiences as well as faculty and student panels.

More than 85 employers from diverse industries and geographical locations are set to participate in the Summit. This event is made possible by the following sponsors: WVU Corporate Relations Office, Stanley Black & Decker, Oshkosh/JLG Industries, Pittsburgh Technology Council, Electro Chemical Finishing, and The Leadership Bridge.

All faculty and graduate students who are interested in building their professional network or learning more about career opportunities available to students and alumni are invited to the Employer Summit Networking Reception. The event will be held on June 27 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place.
