College of Education and Human Services mourns the loss of former dean

It is with great sorrow that the College of Education and Human Services shares the news of Dr. Anne H. Nardi’s passing.

Dr. Nardi served as chair of the Department of Educational Psychology from 1985 to 1996. She was Associate Dean for Academic Affairs for the College from 1997 to 2002 and was Interim Dean from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, she returned to the faculty where she taught in educational psychology until she retired in 2014. She briefly came out of retirement in 2015 to serve as Interim Chair of the Department of Learning Sciences and Human Development.

Nardi was inducted into the Order of Vandalia in 2016 and was an excellent scholar, teacher and mentor.  

Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, on Friday (June 23) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. More information can be found on the Hastings Funeral Home website.
