The Office of the Provost is offering grants up to $1,000 to faculty and staff for creative ways to integrate “Hidden Figures” into the curriculum. The grants are available to full-time faculty at WVU and at regional campuses and to full-time staff working directly with students (e.g. advisors) or engaged in developing programming for students (e.g. Student Life staff). Artifacts could take the form of research papers, videos, an organized and filmed speaker panel, a speaker series, or some other creative medium. The deadline to submit is June 30 for the fall term and Sept. 30 for the spring term. Details along with the application form can be found at the Campus Read website.
