Shop local at the Summer Farmers Market, Tuesday from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. in the former Shop n' Save parking lot in Westover, and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - noon at the Morgantown Market Place on Spruce Street.

Come to the market on Saturday this week to hear musician Jeffrey Carver and a cooking demonstration by Kimberly Williams.

Vendors will offer a variety of fresh vegetables, fruit, herbs, eggs, cheese, jams, jellies, nuts, honey, meats, woolen products, soaps, etc. all produced within 50 miles.

The Morgantown Farmers Market strives to make fresh healthy food accessible to all people, regardless of income. Currently the Morgantown Farmers Market Growers Association, in coordination with WVU Extension Service Small Farm Center, accepts SNAP cards, and WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers at approved vendors.
