WVU’s Blue & Gold Mine Sale, an annual yard-sale like event, will offer great deals on donated goods for a good cause, May 13 from 7 a.m. to noon on the East Concourse of Milan Puskar Stadium. Beginning May 1, staff, faculty, students and the community at large can drop off unwanted items at any WVU residence hall as well as four drop off locations around Morgantown. Acceptable items include, but are not limited to, furniture, clothing, appliances, décor, sporting equipment, electronics, etc. Televisions and mattresses will not be accepted.
This event keeps about 30 tons of goods out of landfills annually, and all proceeds benefit the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties.
