West Virginia University Press and WVU’s Office of the Provost invite you to celebrate the publication of Eyes Glowing at the Edge of the Woods: Fiction and Poetry from West Virginia, edited by Laura Long and Doug Van Gundy, Thursday (March 23) from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Gold Ballroom, WVU Mountainlair. The 63 fiction writers and poets within this anthology include current and former WVU faculty and students, as well as award-winning novelists and two state Poets Laureate. The writers delve deep into the many senses of place that modern West Virginia, the core of Appalachia, inspires.
